Associate, bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees and graduate and post-graduate certificates for specialized studies are possible in various fields of veterinary medicine. Students of veterinary schools and colleges can choose to study avian and small animal medicine, including small exotic, wildlife, and zoo animals; equine and large animal medicine; veterinary surgery; physiology, anatomy, and radiology; infectious diseases, pathology, and pharmacology; or parasitology, mycology, population health, and wildlife diseases.
