Christian Colleges

Subject
Top Christian Colleges Christian colleges offer something very different from the usual university experience. While most Christian based programs offer the same educational experience, they also offer programs that are more nurturing to the student with a wholesome and positive atmosphere. The academic aspect is still as challenging but the opportunity for tutoring and counseling is generally more personal and available to students. Students are able to immerse themselves in their studies as well as engage in the opportunity to learn more about themselves.

Christian Colleges

Christian colleges and universities are often accredited and offer Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS) and Bachelor programs in Arts and Sciences. They may also offer programs for earning diplomas and certificates. Studies may include human services, education, counseling, nursing, computer related degrees and religious studies.

Christian colleges often have chapels and the opportunity for community services and prayer. This environment is often warm and inviting for students of Christian faith who are away from home for the first time. Many Christian schools are also involved in community projects to assist the less fortunate. Such as food banks, literacy programs and a wide range of other extracurricular activities, giving students the opportunity to socialize and interact with many new people.

Bible Colleges

Theological colleges or seminary schools are involved in teaching the ministry and may offer degrees in Christian counseling, in depth studies of the Bible, church growth, pastoral studies, and education specifically for Christian students. The focus is more on the Christian religion than many Christian colleges, but the campus experience is similar.
