The Institute was founded in 1998 to assist human services professionals to become professional Life Coaches, and ILCT can quickly provide you with the necessary training to qualify for one of the prestigious International Coach Federation (ICF) credentials.

Working professionals in the fields of counseling, therapy, psychology, social work, human resources, and education can benefit from training to be a Life Coach. And, the best part is you will not have to forfeit current employment as you learn to be a Life Coach, because all classes at ILCT take place via teleconference, from the comfort of your own home or office!

The Institute for Life Coach Training can provide you with a high quality distance learning education in a concise time period, with instruction given by some of the country's leading experts in the field. The Foundational course taught as a teleclass is just one hour long, twice a week for 20 weeks, totaling 40 class hours per course. Classes are limited to no more than 18 students, and ILCT instructors are all former therapists who have built successful coaching practices. Advanced classes are available after the foundational course leading toward a diploma in Life Coaching if desired. The Life Coaching program at ILCT is also approved by the International Coaching Federation as an Accredited Coach Training Program, and the unique curriculum at ILCT is continually re-evaluated to ensure that state-of-the-art training is provided.

ILCT offers several Life Coaching programs leading to prestigious Life Coaching credentials such as the Certified Life Coach (CLC) and/or Certified Wellness Coach (CWC), and Life Coach Diploma (International Coach Federation Accredited Coach Training Program).
